It took Caveman some 10,000 years to take a stone and make it into a spear for hunting and war according to some archaeologists. In the timeline of history, too many engineering marvels were erected with the use of mathematics much faster than Caveman could have developed by his own methods or trial and error. The advancements in technology as a by product of mathematics being introduced to civilization in realtion to histories timeline show an incredible leap in the capabilities of mankind that were not present before. Many archaeologists suggest the introduction of mathematics came from aliens who visted here even before the Egyptian Dynasty through the use of wormholes in which ET's could travel light years almost instantly. Their theory suggest in an alternate universe, ET's advanced more rapidly than Caveman and therefore either out of a gesture of good will or pity help mankind along. Many people have been claimed to be abducted by aliens, took to their craft, and probed for medical research. Under hypnosis, these case studies reveal reenactments of the aductions. Much physical and medical evidence exists to back up the claims but of course some have turned out to be hoaxes also.

God would have to be an alien. I don't believe in the biblical Christian concept of God, but I'd believe in a superior intelligence with abilities that would seem godlike....say some humans from the present went back a couple of thousand years and showed up in a helicopter and had modern weapons....you'd be a God if desired, but out of fear not respect.
